WELCOME TO FGGC SAGAMU

It is both my pleasure and an enormous privilege to welcome you to our official website.

FGGC, Sagamu is a college with a very proud history. In its 41 years it has produced young women who have gone into the world with confidence and a sense of pride in achieving to the best of their abilities. Often they have been inspired by the successes of the women who have preceded them.

Our motto 'Pro Unitate' - Unity, Loyalty, Honesty and Wisdom - sums up well the values and essence of our college. The college offers its students the opportunity for a single sex education. Educational research shows clearly that girls educated in a single sex environment appear to achieve better academically in a full range of subjects, including the sciences and mathematics. They also fully participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities, with great enthusiasm and success

We believe a happy girl is best able to achieve her full potential and we place strong emphasis on ensuring that students are fully supported by our teaching systems and by our excellent staff.

As young women progress through the college, there is also considerable opportunity for leadership and the school recognizes the importance of fostering the self-confidence and sense of pride that comes from providing these leadership opportunities.
